The Sales Associate will coordinate business development and lead generation along with project development roles including technical, business and regulatory activities, and funding programs. The Sales Associate will report directly to the General Manager and Estimators.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Business Development- creating relationships with owners and key decision-makers across many industries and geographical regions (when needed). Actively contribute and participate in initiatives in marketing to source qualified leads. Develop and manage an active sales pipeline. Create and manage CRM through software and in-person consultations. • Proposal generation- create professional and complete proposals for prospective clients. • RFP Coordination- create and review proposals in response to RFP’s from various sources. Coordinate inputs from each department, manage proposal process documentation and meet deadlines for formal RFP’s. Provide support during project contract review. • On-site visits- attend site visits with respective owners, managers, engineers to manage prospective projects and evaluate potential properties. Effectively communicate the benefits of renewable energy solutions via email, phone, and in-person consultations. • Meet or exceed pipeline development and annual sales targets. • Prepare financial analysis of proposed solutions for prospects and customers in various markets. • Presenting information, statistics, and proposals in small to medium groups • Program application- maintain knowledge of current and prospective funding programs available.

Ability to see tasks through to completion • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

Experience:

• Obtained a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent. A business/ Engineering degree would be an advantage. • Minimum 3 years experience in sales with a proven track record (provide examples)
